A. The MKIII is sold as a package that includes the RainSaver device with a suitable water pump. If you have an existing pump you would like to attach the Rainsaver unit to, you can look at the Rainsaver MKIIIe Conversion Kit.
Q. What is the difference between the Rainsaver MKIII & MKIIIe?
A. The MKIII does not use electricity, only pump pressure to work, so it can be mounted anywhere in conjunction with a Rainsaver pump system. The MKIIIE uses electricity and a low voltage float switch, and can be used with a variety of pumps.
Q. How does the Bianco Rainsaver work?
A. include the word “switch” When there is rainwater in the tank, the MK111 runs on tank water. When the tank water runs out, the MKIII will automatically switch to mains water. When the tank fills again with rainwater, the MKIII will automatically switch back to tank water.
Q. Where can I purchase the Rainsaver products from?

Q. Can I install the Rainsaver device myself without a plumber?
A. Although the installation of the Rainsaver device is very simple, we do suggest you have a licensed plumber / water tank installer to ensure the unit is fitted correctly.
Q. Are there any Government rebates for installing a Rainsaver device?
A. There are Government rebates available for some states for installing a rainwater tanks and connecting to your house, click here for more information.
Q. When will the Rainsaver change from Mains water to Tank Water?
A. Your pump will have a sensor to detect the level of water in your rainwater tank, once there is enough water for the pump to operate it will automatically turn the pump on that will switch your water supply from Town Water to your Watertank.
Q. Can I connect a Rainsaver unit to my existing pump or replace my existing Mains to Tank Water Changeover device?
A. If you have an existing change over device for example a Davey Rainbank or Onga Waterswitch and would like to change to a RainsaverMK3e fully automatic mains to tank water changeover then you can purchase the Conversion Kit that replaces all changeover devices.
Q. Can I connect my rain water harvesting system to my home or farms irrigation system?
A. Depending on the pump pressure you can also connect your irrigation system to your rainwater tank controlled by the Rainsaver unit.
Q. How do I select the right pump for my house?
A. Selecting the correct pump for your house will depend on the amount of taps / outlets. The Product Specs page lists each pump and the amount of taps to supply constant pressure to each tap within your home or office.
Q. What is the difference between Surface Mounted and Submersible Pumps, what type of pump do I need for my water tank?
A. Surface mounted pumps are an economic solution to pumping rainwater. Submersible pumps operate inside the rainwater tank and are virtually silent in operation.
